Come Enjoy the Festivities at The Market Common this December

The Market Common December calendar is full of holiday cheer and events.  The Holiday Bazaar will be held each Saturday from the 2nd to the 16th from 12 – 4 PM on Howard Avenue.  Enjoy a festive holiday market with seasonal craft vendors, live greens, and fresh food.  From 9 – 11 AM on the 2nd and 16th, Breakfast with Santa will be hosted by Tupelo Honey Cafe (reservations:  843-315-3780) on the 2nd and Gordon Biersch (reservations: 843-839-0249) on the 16th.  The cost is $10 per person (complimentary for ages 3 and under) and includes coffee, soft drinks, juice or milk. Tax and gratuity are not included. Complimentary Carriage Rides will now be available each Saturday from December 2nd – 23rd, 3 – 6 PM.   They will pick up and drop off in front of Dolce Lusso Salon on the corner of Howard Avenue and Nevers Street.  Your children or pets will have a Complimentary Photo Opportunity with Santa in the sleigh beside the Christmas tree in front of Grand 14 Cinema nightly from December 11th – 14th, 6 – 8 PM.  The annual Lighting of the Menorah in Valor Park will take place each day at dusk (about 5:30 PM) from the 12th to the 20th.  And the month will end with a bang as we ring in the New Year at A Southern Times Square on the 31st from 7 PM to midnight.  Named the winner of the 2017 Business Innovation Award by the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce, A Southern Times Square will be back and better than ever on New Year’s Eve at The Market Common.  This free and family-friendly event is open to the public and features two stages with live music, a live-stream on the jumbo screen of Times Square in NYC with our own simultaneous mirror ball drop, and fireworks at midnight.  We will have street entertainers along with inflatables and games for the kiddos!  This year, our beer garden has expanded to encompass the whole event so, with a hand-stamp, you can purchase alcohol and carry it around with you to all of the activities.  There will also be food vendors throughout.  In addition to our parking lots, parking garages and street parking, the lots at Crabtree Gym will be available for parking. Large bags, backpacks, and outside alcohol are not permitted.
