After much anticipation, Peace, Love & Little Donuts, the 70’s-inspired donut shop at 3020 Nevers Street beside Orvis and across from Valor Park at The Market Common, opened their doors to an enthusiastic public on Monday, September 11th, despite the weather. They will be open daily from 6:30 AM to 9 PM. Their three categories of donuts, Groovy Toppings, Far Out Frosting, which have a single topping or frosting, and Funkadelic which boasts flavor combinations like Maple Bacon and Raspberry Lemonade, have created much buzz this summer. They also serve whimsical coffees with names like Woodstock and Light My Fire. As a special treat, they will offer Nitro Coffee, a nitrogen-infused cold brew coffee. Its rich flavor may have some foregoing the addition of cream and sugar. Before the first bite or sip was ever taken, there were already fans of the fun logo featuring a peace sign, heart and small donut with a bite taken out it. Merchandise bearing this instantly-iconic logo will be on sale in the form of t-shirts, hats, mugs, and, coming soon, tumblers with a refill policy to be announced. Do you want bring whimsy and tasty treats to your next meeting or event? The first shop was introduced eight years ago in the historic Strip District of Pittsburgh. Of the over 25 shops nationwide, this is the first one for South Carolina.
