The Market Common Welcomes EdVenture
The Market Common welcomes EdVenture, previously known as The South Carolina Children’s Museum, to its collection of retailers, restaurants, and entertainment offerings.
EdVenture is a not-for-profit educational institution dedicated to creating new generations of lifelong learners through museum experiences, afterschool programming, and camps. With a mission to inspire children, youth and the adults who care about them to experience the joy of learning as individuals, as families and as a community, EdVenture’s new location at The Market Common will feature a themed environment for learning and activity. The theme, which is kept under wraps for now, will be revealed during the opening.
“After merging with the Children’s Museum of South Carolina formerly located in Myrtle Beach, we are proud to announce that our new location will be within The Market Common,” says Lisa Hailey, Interim President & CEO of EdVenture. “We simply cannot express how excited we are to bring this new exhibit to the community.”

EdVenture is set to open early 2019 on Howard Avenue.
