My mother and I were shopping at Market Commons and decided to stop in Pottery Barn for some kitchen pieces we needed. I am giving two stars only because the store was beautifully on display, however friendliness and customer service deserves a big fat zero. I actually entered this store twice within an hour. The first time no one greeted me as I quickly stopped in for a look. When I returned with my mother a few minutes later, no one greeted us or bothered to offer us assistance as we browsed the store. We actually walked by the register where 3 employees were standing around talking amongst themselves and not one of them acknowledged us. Stop judging your customers based on looks especially if they are wearing shorts and flip flops.... we’re at the beach, duh! (We went to Home Goods instead and left much happier... and were greeted as we entered the store.)

I placed an online order today and part of it is being fulfilled by this store, a woman who works here called me and let me know she had made a mistake shipping my order! She already got it out with her UPS guy in record time and them called to let me know in advance that she missed an item and it would be right behind instead of chancing me having to wonder and call around! Amazing, thanks for caring about my time and being so quick and thoughtful!!!!!

When I was looking to make a purchase the sales associate was very helpful. Unfortunately the item did not work out. My return experience was a totally different experience. After being approached by a sales associate I was quickly handed off to one of the two Assistant Managers. The first Assistant Manager was down right rude, condensing and a unfriendly demeanor. The second Assistant Manger was much more helpful and apologetic. Too late you've lost a customer. The most snobby store.

Items out based in August just keep being delayed with no notice... Ridiculous.. stop selling items if you can't deliver or say 3-4 month turnaround so folks can make educated decisions

While vacationing in Myrtle Beach, my husband and I always go into Pottery Barn. This time, no greeting to us, but a couple behind us they practically fell all over them with a greeting. My husband noticed one employee kept following us around. Omg!! We purchase quite a few things from Pottery Barn. We were especially interested in checking out sofas. While sitting on a sofa looking at fabric samples, an employee came over and told me it was polyester.. then left..?? I started to ask her about the other sofas..??? She turned her back on us..Rude!! Seriously.. train your staff about manners!! Will be looking at Crate and Barrel or Room and Board for our new sofas!! Really Disappointed!!
