If you and your spouse or special someone are in need of some summer lovin’ (now, now, we mean date night, nothing more) The Market Common is the perfect place to hold hands and take advantage of our many options for a date. If you want to just relax as a twosome, schedule a couple’s massage at Dulce Lusso Salon & Day Spa, where they offer 30-, 60- or 90-minute massages in their luxe ambiance that oozes relaxation. Or, stretch things out at Yoga In Common, where trained yogi experts will have you breathing stress-free together. Friday and Saturday nights, they even offer a Hot Vinyasa Flow class that will heat things up for an hour. That’s one way to make it a hot date!
Play Date
Entertainment could be in your future at The Market Common in the form of movies, or bowling and billiards. Grab tickets, catch the latest flick and cuddle up under the low lights of the Grand 14 Cinema. Or, if you’re better on your feet, get a strike (different than striking out) at the brand-new 810 Billiards & Bowling, located at the former Piggly Wiggly. This isn’t your granddaddy’s bowling alley; instead, you’ll love the sexy leather couches at the lanes, the mood lighting throughout, great food, music and wall-to-wall TVs.
Dress Up
Foreplay can begin with a couple quick stops to pick up some lingerie at two shops known for its wearable intimacy: Victoria’s Secret and Soma Intimates. It’s a pit stop I’m sure he won’t mind making.
Dinner (and Drinks) for Two
Last, but not least, there are enough restaurants to suit your foodie fancy up and down the streets of The Market Common – from French crepes to an Italian bistro to Asian to Thai to Mexican to pizzeria to Southern chic to a brewery and sports bars.
